About us

Since 1939, the name DIGEL has been standing for innovative and superior quality menswear.

In the 1950‘s and 60‘s, the company went through a rapid development and ever since, the company has been modernised and restructured to adapt to the ever changing demands of the market and its trade partners. As a result, DIGEL - The Menswear Concept has been growing continuously and has progressed above average in the industry.

There have been many changes and there always will be, but one thing will never change: the ambition to produce nothing but first-class quality garments and the enormous innovative strengths that come from within.

Today, 60% of all DIGEL products are exported to countries all over the world. With 300 employees DIGEL achieved a turnover of € 97 mio in 2015.

Products and services

DIGEL – The Menswear Concept offers perfectly coordinated complete outfits for business and leisure, which now reach right down to the shoes. Rather sober in its colours, the collection is able to create special excitement with its materials and sophistications of cut. The field jacket is just one example made from goat Nappalan with all-over quilting, feather light with a contrasting interior in navy and brown. Jerseys and knitwear define jackets, waistcoats and blousons, which are all amongst the important protagonists of the season. The suit remains slim but the beginnings of more volume and enveloping shapes can be seen in the silhouettes. A strong Digel theme is functionality. In accordance with the adage “More fashion – more additional value”, this can be seen throughout the whole collection: whether it is in the Powerstretch of the trousers, the non-iron and stain-guard finishes on the shirts or in the water-repellent, breathable jackets.

“Digel Grey” moves monochrome gradations of grey tones into the spotlight, whereby the palette reaches right up to the new brown tones: from forged iron to griffin and from chocolate brown right up to partridge. Dark aubergine, bordeaux and deep red-wine nuances highlight the knitwear offering, whereas brilliant white gives a thrill to the shirt range.

“Digel Blue” stands for a modern world of colour full of diversity: Navy and Atlantic blue meet with pale blue in the shirts. Further combination partners are sun-dried tomato red and kombu green. This last one, diffusely toned, puts a new spotlight on this jacket or that, whilst the knitwear collection is committed to this colour even more strongly.

The Athleisure theme is the focus of one of the two stories of the season. Monochrome concrete-grey tones, black and bright white, contrast starkly with signal colours like pompeian red. Pale blue and camel make additional participants. A smattering of the dramatic, the eccentric, the luxurious and the elegant – that is the second story. Dark nightshade blue tones and smoky blues coalesce with purple, patrician purple, malachite green and maroon. Bright white introduces brilliance and freshness.
